Description
Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre vase decorated in the Imps on a bridge pattern. This pattern features a line of imps crossing a bridge. An imp in a canoe paddles in the lake below the bridge. Above the bridge is a Roc bird in flight. A 'Bubble' boy stands looking out across the scene. Trees and leaves rise up from the base, which has Gnomes and rabbits amongst toadstools. Flame fairyland sky. 'Portland Vase' backstamp and shape number 3148 to the underside. 'Z5481' painted in script to the underside. Pattern illustrated on page 210, 'Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre' by Una des Fontaines.
