Carl Auböck II Midcentury Magazine Rack, Brass & Brown Leather, Vintage, Austria

$ 2,200
  • Description
    A beautiful modernist original and old newspaper stand / magazine rack from the 1950s. Model No. 3808. Designed and manufactured by Carl Auböck, Austria. The news rack is in very good condition, its solid brass frame shows charming patina, the cognac brown tan cowhide leather is excellent for its age. A well.tended piece, seems to be hardly used. As this is a vintage piece we decided to keep the nice patina, but we offer to polish it on request, so that the brass would look like in the last image. Our favorite news holder. A timeless piece of furniture.
