Description
This is a rare modernist book end, designed and manufactured by Carl Auböck III in the 1970s. The bookend consists of a large brass medal, which displays the coat of arms of the house of Habsburgs, the double headed monarchy eagle and the words "viribus unitis“. The coin is surrounded by a square blackened frame made of iron. In very good condition. These bookends have been produced only in a low number of pieces.
