Very fine pair of English Arts & Crafts brass andirons in the manner of William Burges, the pierced brass tops with embossed cabochons over swan necks mounted with rosette bosses having hearts and petals radiating from a central floret, flanked by fire breathing griffins or wyverns bestride roundel embellished cartouches, and having nicely worked wrought iron supports.
