WMF Jugendstil Art Nouveau silver on pewter and glass Biscuit Box. Stamped marks running ostrich B I/0 OX and 231. Illustrated WMF 1906 Catalogue page 251 model number 231. Circa 1906. Original green paneled glass liner, the silvered pewter of stylised open foliate nouveau design, swing handle and cover conforming in decoration. Height: 23 cm. Handle to handle: 15.5cm.
