Description
WMF Jugendstil secessionist silver plate jewellery box, Germany, circa 1900. The box of rectangular shape on four turned stylised supports, conforming in style to cornices and decoration of sides and concave dome shape hinged cover with hemispherical handle. WMF marks on underside and numbered 17 on interior. Measures: 5.5 x 4 x 5 inches. Minor wear commensurate with age. No repairs.
