An antique Persian Malayer runner. Three huge, flattened rust rosettes develop vertical forests of flowering branches on this unusual west Persian village runner. A few bent “fish” leaves sneak into the design interstices. Two minor borders display boteh chains while the ivory central stripe shows reversing fan palmettes.
