Description
This is an archetypical Persian tribal kelim design with its multicoloured triangular motifs in a plethora of colours and executions. Weavings such as this one served as inspiration for SoFar SoNear Milan, the designers of our new Bauhaus meets Ghashgha'i Collection, to draw parallels between Persian tribal weaving art and that of the Bauhaus movement. The finest highland wool from the Zagros Mountains, hand-carded and hand-spun, is used to weave these kelims that are woven in three strips and then sewn together.
