Description
This traditional hand-woven Persian Tabriz rug has an extremely fine radiant blue-green field of dense polychrome floral sprays enclosing a double arabesque medallion containing similar dense floral motifs in broad sweeping blue-gray spandrels, with a blue-green border of dense alternating palmettes issuing floral motifs, between triple elegant vine stripe borders and an inner fox-brown floral vine stripe between delicate geometric lozenge stripes, plain shaded blue-green stripe. Mint condition.
