Tribal Style Modern Moroccan Wool Rug in Pink, White, and Brown
-
Description
Although presently made, this modern rug carries a design that was developed centuries ago by nomadic tribes wandering the deserts of Morocco. It is modeled on Beni Ourains – shaggy tribal rugs which were highly acclaimed by the mid-20th century modernists, and since then, have been an indispensable element of the most fashionable interiors around the world.
The main field of the modern Moroccan rug carries an abstract tribal design rendered in brown against an ivory background. The composition is finished with white tassels.
This modern Moroccan rug was made in accordance with traditional techniques to ensure its quality and uniqueness. Carefully hand-knotted out of high-quality wool, it is distinguished by durability and a soft pile. Under the condition of proper maintenance, it will serve its owners for generations without any signs of wear. - More Information

Founded in 1965, Doris Leslie Blau’s rug emporium is the stuff of design legends. For decades it was known as the go-to source for those seeking the best in the unusual antique and avant-garde. Now owned by Nader Bolour, to whom Doris turned over the business, the gallery has not only continued the tradition of carrying the best of antique and vintage pieces, but has also forged ahead to create unique and innovative contemporary and custom rugs as well.
