Mid-century modern tapestry, fiber art, by Opie Boel, Belgium, 1970s. Belgian post-war Textile art by Opie and Maurice Boel. The Artist weave had quite some momentum in Belgium in the seventies. Other important artists were Tapta, Veerle Dupont, Liberta & others. We have two more pieces by the same artist in separate listings. In the last picture, you'll find decor with a Camaleonda sofa, a Natacha Mankowski painting, a Decio studio vessel, a franz xaver sproll cabinet, a Carlo Lorenzetti bronze lamp, a Flos 'Arco' lamp and the floating back armchair by Jeanneret.
