18TH CENTURY AUBUSSON TAPESTRY FRAGMENT
Depicting a vase of flowers filled with roses, carnations, tulips and other specimens, below a garland of flowers hanging from a ribbon with an arrangement of musical instruments and sheet music. Flanked by two turned columns decorated with swags of flowers.
Mounted on a stretcher with a single plain border in blue. France, c.1750
