-
Description
This gorgeous wool tapestry, c. 1750, is from Belgium and features a forest landscape with verdant trees and shrubbery, and having floral and foliate horizontal borders and striped vertical borders which accent its height. Time has been kind to the textile as it has retained its rich greens, golds, and browns. It has recently been lined with canvas verso and includes small rings along the top for easy hanging. The beauty of this tapestry will bring the outdoors into any space.
