Description EARLY 18TH CENTURY VERDURE TAPESTRY FRAGMENT, AUBUSSON
A wooded landscape with a tree in the centre.
Surrounded by a double plain border in dark blue/green and yellow.
Woven in wools and silk, France circa 1720.
The tapestry has old repairs and also has a burn hole at the bottom. It has been backed and is ready to be hung.
