19th Century Set of Ten Sterling Silver Shot Glasses by W Comyn
-
Description
Yes, shot glasses existed in 1898!
They were more likely used, however, for hot port instead of ‘Jaeger’! LOL
Gloriously rare!
Still in their original box and all 100% intact and in immaculate condition!!
The shot glasses are held in a solid silver repousse base of cherubs celebrating the wine harvest with scrolled handles. Baachus would be proud of them!
Made in London, UK in 1898 by W. Comyn & Sons a well known London Silversmiths, fully hallmarked.
This is a very rare find indeed!
We dare you to find another set! -
