Stunning mid 20th Century Italian solid silver stirrup cup, the head realistically cast as a hounds head, richly gilt interior, plain collar with a step boarder. Stirrup cups modelled as hounds are extremely rare and sought after. Hallmarked Italian silver (800 standard), Maker's mark BR (Brandimarte s.r.l. Firenze, Mark FI 283 from 1 April 1968),
