Mid-Century Modern Lacquered Goat Skin and Brass Ice Bucket by Aldo Tura

Description
This elegant and dramatic ice bucket was realized by the esteemed Mid-Century Modern designer Aldo Tura in Italy, circa 1970. It features a cylindrical body that tapers to each end with a slightly inset neck in patinated brass with a circular top and a cylindrical button handle in polished brass. A curved tubular handle also in polished brass attaches to the sides of the bucket via orbital rivets. There is a sticker on the walnut lined base of the piece reading "TU Milano Italia", which was Tura's proprietary stamp. With its luxe materials and clean modernist lines, this ice bucket promises to add a touch of glamour to any bar that it graces. It is in excellent vintage condition.
