IMPORTANT ROUEN EARLY 18TH CENTURY OCTAGONAL PLATTER OR 'BANNETTE' IN FAIENCE FINE
Decorated with a geometric cobalt blue and red floral border with a coat of arms at the centre. With two handles, one at each end.
Rouen, France, c.1710.
A small amount of restoration to the underside of the handles.
There is a dish with almost identical design and of similar quality in the collection of the Victoria &Albert Museum in South Kensington, London.
