Description
Rare Christopher Dresser designed miniature cup and saucer, hallmarked 1892-1894, Hukin & Heath. The cup of plain, slightly tapered, plain curve handle, saucer plain welled. Cup and Saucer fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1894 and London 1892 by Hukin & Heath respectively. Underside of Saucer retailer’s mark, Clark 20 Old Bond St. Alfred Clark was a silversmith who was in the top end of the market and counted Royalty amongst his customers including Edward VII. Measures: 3.25 x 1.5 inches. Item weight: 58.53 gm.
