Eva Zeisel for Federal Glass Co. — Vintage "Stockholm" Radiobar Style Barware Set, 1954
This exceptional mid-century barware set, designed in 1954 and attributed to the celebrated Eva Zeisel for the Federal Glass Company, captures the clean lines and sophisticated flair of the postwar modernist aesthetic. The set includes eight beautifully proportioned lowball glasses, each featuring bold silver and black horizontal striping—an iconic detail of the “Stockholm” pattern that evokes the streamlined glamour of a vintage radiobar.

The caddy, with its sculptural chrome-plated handles and warm cherry-toned wooden tray, offers both function and style, allowing for elegant service or display. Each glass fits securely into its custom slot, making the set ideal for entertaining or as a curated focal point in a home bar or cocktail cart.Every piece is in mint vintage condition, showing virtually no wear—an increasingly rare quality for glassware of this era. Whether you're a collector, design enthusiast, or mid-century modern devotee, this set is a refined and timeless addition.

Born in Hungary to a Jewish family, Eva Zeisel’s life and career were marked by extraordinary resilience and artistic vision. Fleeing the rise of Nazism, she sought refuge in the Soviet Union, only to be unjustly imprisoned for 16 months—12 of those in solitary confinement—after being falsely accused of involvement in a plot to assassinate Stalin. Her harrowing experience is said to have inspired the novel Heart of Darkness. After a brief period working in Vienna, she ultimately found freedom and a new home in the United States.
