French 18th Century Sèvres Porcelain Hot Chocolate Set

Description
This fantastic Sèvres porcelain hot chocolate set, c. 1755, is from France and features the gilded Napoleonic “Bee-and-Star” diapered motif centered by a laurel wreath; a stylized”Double L” underglaze blue mark centered by a “C”with “Ue Imple” below; and a crown mark. The set includes a chocolate pot, 7-3/4″H x 5-3/8″Diameter; a creamer, 4-1/2″H x 5-3/8″W x 3-3/8″D; a sugar, 6-1/8″H x 6-7/8″W x 4-1/2″D; and 9 cups and saucers, 2-3/8″H x 5-3/8″Diameter, one with a chip. This set would display beautifully in a vitrine or on an enfilade.
