Octagon shaped Large tray, Coffee or Tea dispenser with creamer, sugar and a pair of matching cups and saucers. Very beautiful suite of matching pieces, all meant to go together. Possibly originally given as wedding or anniversary gift. Cloisonné is a technique is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects with colored material held in place or separated by metal strips or wire, normally of gold. Ceramic Cloisonné which was developed by the French was an adaptation using ceramic material, applied hand coloring the enamel paint.

Longwy was famous for this and was producing all kinds of home and commercial products through many design eras from the late 1800 through the 1980s. Also the company Boch Freres of Belguim was also doing a similar treatment with ceramic cloisonné technique. Most pieces are stamped with the vintage historic Longwy logo.
