Monumental stoneware vessel / bowl by Michael Becker. 14" H x 26.5" W x 24.5" D Brutalist and modern in form this stoneware pottery bowl features natural exterior and glazed interior. The textured lava glazed interior is an off-white color. Raised "spine" bisects the interior. This bowl creates a striking singular statement in any interior!
Michael Becker is a recent graduate from Cranbrook Academy of Art with a MFA in Ceramics. Michael was awarded the Cranbrook Museum of Art Purchase award in 2019. Michael has been influenced by Richard DeVore, Paul Soldner and Peter Voulkos.
