Organic Modernist Polished Brass Undulating Decorative Dish
-
Description
This elegant and sophisticated decorative dish was realized in the United States during the latter half of the 20th century. It features a ruffled square form in polished brass that suggests both a pocket square and a napkin. Cleverly, the piece is composed of solid brass which contradicts the associates of levity conjured by these swatches of fabric. The surface of the piece has a subtle mottled texture testifying to its hand crafted construction. With its idiosyncratic form and wonderful attention to detail, this dish would be a winning addition to any interior regardless of the style of decor. It is in excellent vintage condition.
