Exceptional large centerpiece bowl by Eva Staehr-Nielsen (1911-1976) for Saxbo, having low sides on a reveal with flat bottom carved in a diamond pattern; hand-thrown in stoneware with a brown-gray glaze; Denmark, mid-20th century; impressed SAXBO mark, "304" and caved "E.S.T.N."
