Description
This is an absolutely beautiful and rare form penny work table rug. American circa eighteen seventy and an excellent condition. What makes this so rare is the pattern of leaf and berries, along with the fact that it is open work. The colors are well preserved and deep in richness. This item has a line of provenance. It was under the direction of M. Finkel & Daughter IN 1998 that it was professionally mounted on white acid, free linen and framed.
