An incredible piece of rare Americana. Hand cut and sewn patriotic Civil War flag apron with stunning hand sewn stars. The material is a linen type fabric with an intricate design throughout. There was a hand written note attached to the dress that is framed in a window box below the dress. The note says; “This apron was made during the Civil War for Alice daughter of C.R. Anderson. AMA For Alice Anderson her namesake written in 1907.”
