Description Bright Forest Landscape Oil Painting by Alonzo St. George Huntington.

This landscape painting is oil on wood panel, measures 9" tall by 14" wide and is signed in the lower right corner.

In the gilt frame the impressionist painting measures 15" tall by 20" wide.

Bright impressionist spring landscape painted around 1895 to 1905.

Born Ft. Leavenworth, June 2, 1868; died Chicago, Aug. 3, 1941.

Studied at Art Institute of Chicago; in New York under Inman, in Paris at the Academié Julian under William Bouguereau and Tony Robert Fleury from 1886-90, and in Rome in the British Academy under Senor José Gallegos.
