About the artist:
Anne Charlotte Saliba is a designer and paper sculptor. All her attention is focused on the light. In her workshop, she creates her lights in their entirety, then makes them evolve, grow simultaneously with her reflection. The design is done through the material, the designer works directly in volume, after the emergence of an idea, a form. Its different collections are part of an eco-design approach, combining elegance, finesse and respect for the environment. The beauty of the outside world and more precisely of nature, are of real importance to Anne-Charlotte, her influences being essentially from the plant and animal world. She is inspired by the finesse of the lines and membranes of certain plant veins but also bioluminescent abyssal species and the grace of their movements, thus giving a living character to some of these lamps. Its luminaires can be serialized, but remain unique because of their entirely manual production, in natural fibers. Other lamps are unique, each having a new graphic design, drawn by punches according to the wandering of the hand at the time.. -
