Antique Folk Art Painting of Indians in Forest

$ 1,595
  • Description
    Wonderful folk art painting depicting a tribe of American Indians in a forrest setting. Lots of nice detail, dogs, horses, campfire its like the artist was there with them in the camp. The painting is similar to three other similar folk art Indian paintings that I have seen. One was signed D. E. Christy the other by Granger, I have pictures of them I can email to you. . This one is not signed that I can see. When I bought it about 15 years ago from a north-east antique dealer the edges were worn so I used a painting conservator to repair the edges and its so good I can't tell anything.
    Painting showing 17"x23 Frame 22"x29"
