Continental Portrait Miniature of a Young Girl with Tableau Locket Frame,
19th century

The rectangular-form watercolor portrait miniature is painted with a young girl with brown hair and curls to each side. She wears a coral necklace and a white dress with blue ribbons at the shoulders.

The frame is an ornate gilt work rectangular frame with columns to each side and three-dimensional laurel leaves to the sides and lower section and the ground chased with a leafy design. The back with a pin.

Dimensions: 2 1/2 inches high x 2 3/8 inches wide x 1/4 inch deep; Miniature 1 3/4 inches x 1 3/8 inches wide
