Evelyn Ackerman Style Mosaic of Handcut Glass Tile, 1960, California
-
Description
An Evelyn Ackerman style mosaic created in 1960 composed of handcut glass tiles.
Over six feet in length this striking unique Californian modern studio still life would be a great accent piece.
Many of the colors used to create the elements of the still life are iridescent and have a gem like sparkle when lit by brilliant sunlight or well placed spotlight.
The colors change in reaction to the level of light and the source very cool, very reactive to how it is lit and our photos intentionally attempt to show the differences in color.
The mosaic framed measures 75" W 16" H x 1" D.
The mosaic is in excellent condition with minor wear to the frame as pictured. -
