This endearing vintage French painting on board of two pheasants is sure to put a smile on your face, transporting the viewer to a rural countryside where the imagination is free to roam. In a bold and vibrant color palette the artist presents a fantastic scene (not bound to depictions of reality) of rolling green hills dotted with flowers, where a pheasant couple are towered over by the stalks of some unfamiliar red and pink blooms. Above, in the cloudless blue sky, is a giant yellow butterfly larger than the female pheasant with pink antennae. No visible signature; framed and ready to hang in your interior.
