Late 19th Century Rocky coastal Seascape Oil on Canvas signed lower left: Bickerstaff
George Sanders Bickerstaff (California, Arkansas, 1893 – 1954) Landscape painter. Born in Marianna, Arkansas on April 12, 1893. Bickerstaff was a self-taught artist except for a brief period at the Art Institute of Chicago. He led a peripatetic existence before moving to California in 1922.
