Rare "Kuan Su" wall art in patinated bronze and pewter with hand-applied blue enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “P+K LaVerne” on bottom of frame). This design is exquisite.

Sculpture, Bronze and Pewter Tables, The Art of Philip LaVerne published in the 1960’s, page 11 shows this model titled “Kuan Su”. In the back of the catalog is the description:
“The relaxed position of the floral motif, combined with the soft contoured lines of the background, suggest the delicate precise Chinoiseries décor that inspired the rich designs of the 18th century. Timeless beauty held forever in bronze and pewter.”
