Description Sol Lewitt, Untitled from ‘Forms Derived from a Cube’, 1982.

Artist’s proof, signed and numbered 4/7 on lower right. Edition of 25 with 7 artist’s proofs (included in the permanent collection at MoMa, Whitney, Tate etc.)

Etching and Aquatint. Printed on Somerset Satin White.

Sol Lewitt created 24 variations derived from a cube but of course, the pure cube is our favorite.

Reflections: Any inconsistencies seen in the images of the artwork are reflections from the plexiglass. The artwork itself is in perfect condition.

Framing: This piece has been professionally framed in an opaque white satin finish lacquer over maple frame with archival UV plexiglass. The mitered corners are splined, not cheaply stapled or glued, which prevents any separation, and back of the frame is reinforced with a stretcher to prevent warping over time.

23.5" H, 23.5" W, 1.5" D (framed)
