Volumes 2, 4 and 5. Each volume double sided. The book spine stamped Carnesecchi Impronte Di Gemme.
Featuring 268 plaster intaglios. Francesco Carnesecchi was a renowned 19th century master gem and intaglio engraver who also sold art to Grand Tour travelers. Examples of his intaglios are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York etc.
