Description
Scagliola on slate. In an associated rectangular parcel-gilt frame. The imitation engraved scene depicts a water mill over looking a river and peasants. Oxblood on a cream ground. Made by Amedeo Seytter, active 1712-1734 in Rome.

Mrs. Fioratti has worked on architectural restorations, and restored a 10th century village near Siena.
