Description
Michael Argov, painter and sculptor was born in Vienna in 1920 and Immigrated to Israel in 1933. He lived in Paris and taught at the Beaux Arts Art Academy from 1947-1951. Argov’s work has been exhibited internationally at museums including the Haifa Museum of Art (1955), Tel Aviv Museum of Art (1959), The Venice Biennale (1970), Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris (1957), Museum of Modern Art, Sao Paulo, Brazil (1962), Museum Wiesbaden, Germany (1971).
