Description
Exceptional watercolor by renowned painter Bernard Boutet de Montvel (1881-1949). Watercolor and black pencil on thick paper. Signed bottom right. With its original frame (in poor condition). The painting is the portrait of Ms Lise Brissaud whose family is described in the certificate (see pictures).
A certificate by M. Stéphane-Jacques Addade (expert at Chambre Européenne des Experts d'Art) will be delivered to the buyer (pictures attached).
Paintings by this artist are rare, among his most praised works are 2 portraits of the Maharadja of Indore displayed at a famous Cartier exhibition.
