    Here for your consideration is a oil on masonite floral painting by the well known American artist, Dines Carlsen. Done in the 1950's it is housed in a elaborate gold gilt gallery frame in excellent condition. Estate stamped verso with original gallery label of Wortsman Rowe Gallery in San Francisco, California verso. Overall size framed is 22 by 24.5 inches. Dines Carlsen was the son of the well-known artist Emil Carlsen. He was a student at, and later a member of, the National Academy of Design. He also exhibited frequently at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He was known particularly for his still lifes.
