Description Harry B. Lachman was born in La Salle, IL in 1886. Travelled to Paris in 1911 was exhibited in the Salon in Paris until he returned to the States in 1933. In France he was awarded the Legion d'Honneur.
He moved to Hollywood, where he became a set decorator for the movie industry. He later became a prolific director in movie industry and bought a large mansion in Beverly Hills ( I know the house and the person who bought his entire inventory of remaining paintings not already on the market).
