Meiji period (1868 - 1912) dramatic painting of ocean waves crashing on a rocky shoreline. Beautifully painted sea spray and textured rocks in mineral pigments on silver leaf. Pair available, can be sold separately, but has a wonderful flow when placed together. Signature reads: Kusaoka Shirei.
