    Lined, very minor in-painting in isolated areas of the sky.

    Dimensions: 30” x 40”, 36” x 46” with frame.

    Born in the Hudson Valley, Bristol was best known for his landscape painting. Although primarily self-taught he became an accomplished painter with a wonderful luminist quality to his work as seen in this landscape painting. As a National Academy artist Bristol participated in exposition both here and abroad winning several prizes and medals for his work.
