17th century oil on canvas with platter of fruit and an incense burner on a table covered in richly worked tapestries.
In original unrestored condition, framed in a carved giltwood frame.
Reynaud Levieux was born in Avignon, France the son of a silversmith. he received his artistic education in Italy and was working in Rome in 1685. He is know for his religious paintings and also for numerous still lives often with small dogs.
