From Berlins studio this Sharp Edge 21st Century Neo Expressionist piece using scratch street cuts & squeeze tube technique gives a view of the Guardian Angels from his perspective. A familiar sight in New York these people gave to the city a feeling of safety & protection at a turbulent time. Working in Manhattan and riding the subway or cycling on the street the Guardian Angels were a familiar sight for Sax and also gave him comfort. This series is his way of paying tribute.
