Description Hunt Diederich expanded the definition of sculpture to maintain its relevance in the 20th century by fusing Modernism, Folk Art, and aspects of the Arts and Crafts movement to create his unique style. One of Diederich's most important commissions in New York was creating all the weathervanes and signs for the newly remodeled Central Park Zoo in 1934.
