Rodger (1908-1995) co-founded Magnum Photos with his colleagues Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa and David ('Chim') Seymour in 1947. In 1947 and the 50s he organized more than forty expeditions to Africa, the Middle East, Haiti and Bali and became the best chronicler of the lives of African tribal people. He also organizing several expeditions in the Sahara desert that lead to publications in the National Geographic.

Silver gelatin print. Stamped, numbered and titled on verso, excellent tonal range and condition.
