Creation Date 1971
Description 1971, seven color lithograph on Arches paper, Late July 2, by important American artist, Alex Katz (b. 1929). Signed and numbered, 30 /120, lower left. Since 1951 Alex Katz’s work has been the subject of more than 200 solo exhibitions and nearly 500 group exhibitions internationally including shows at the Serpentine Gallery, London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy Museum, New York (2007), Recipient: the Cooper Union Annual Artist of the City Award (2000), the Queens Museum of Art Award for Lifetime Achievement, and an Award for Art in Public Places (1985).
