Condition Good. The condition of the print is very good, no rips or creases or fading. The outer white border has yellowed with age and has some spotting, but the color lithograph is in great shape
Creation Date 1877
Description Published by Currier and Ives, 115 Nassau St., N.Y. and entered according to act of Congress in the year 1877 by Currier & Ives in the office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington. Providence and Stonington Steamship Co.s Steamers, Massachusetts and Rhode Island - New York and Boston via Providence. Daily from Pier 29 N.R. foot of Warren St. N.Y." Signed D.L. Parsons & Atwater DEL. "Boston via Providence" also written on the flag. It is framed in a nice old wooden oak frame that appears to be original. The print has much detail and movement with beautiful color lithography. In appropriate heavy oak antique frame. Print itself as shown in frame measures 25 inches tall x 38 1/8 inches wide. The frame measures 3 inches all around.
